Over 150 youngsters have been on the course, ranging from U8 - U17 years of age. Today Most clubs have a football academy, these academy's nurture young players, These young players come into the clubs academy at a very young age and the clubs over the years will look after them in terms of their football career.
The problem that these academies have is if the youngster does not make the grade, a lot of the clubs has no more use for these "so called" youngsters and many are thrown on the scrapheap.

• Heelands Challenge football club is not only about playing football, but we
Have added an educational basis to our programme.
